Eric Le Sage
Éric Le Sage was born in 1964 in Aix-en-Provence in southern France.
He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, graduating at the age of 17. He also studied under Maria Curcio in London.
He has received numerous awards, including first place in the Concours International de Musique de la Ville de Porte in 1985, and first place in the Robert Schumann International Competition in 1989.
As well as appearing as a soloist with some of the world’s most prominent orchestras, le Sage has also performed in major musical festivals around the world.
He has released two Schumann and Poulenc recitals CDs for BMG Fun House, and solo and piano duo CDs for King Records.
He has received high acclaim worldwide for his profound interpretations that delve deep into the heart of the works he plays, with a repertoire that ranges from the classical to the contemporary, and for his performances that carry on the French piano tradition.
