Born in New York, Timothy Park studied at the Juilliard School and Yale University, and later at the Musikhochschule Lübeck and the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin.
He has also attended master classes with greats such as Boris Pergamenschikov.
He has won numerous international and domestic competitions, and has performed the New York Chamber Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, and other internationally famous orchestras.
He is a member of the Erlenbusch String Quartet based in Berlin, and he has performed with Alessio Bax, Emmanuel Pahud and Bruno Schneider.
He also dedicates his time to various educational and charitable programs in Korea, Japan, Venezuela, and the United States. Park plays a cello made by Gennaro Gagliano in 1740.
