Radek Baborak
Born in Czechoslovakia in 1976, Radek Baborák began learning the horn at the age of eight, and emerged as an exceptional talent under the tutelage of Zdeněk Tylšar at the Prague Conservatory.

He came to international attention with his victory in the highly competitive ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 1994.

To date, Baborák has held the post of horn soloist with several orchestras, including the Czech Philharmonic and the Munich Philharmonic, and has also performed with the Saito Kinen Orchestra and the Mito Chamber Orchestra, among other orchestras around the world.

He is also an active chamber musician, performing as soloist with various chamber orchestras, including the Afflatus Quintet.
